Kodak Introduces Kodak EasyShare V570
Kodak EasyShare V570
Working its debut at the 2006 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Eastman Kodak Company’s Kodak EasyShare V570 steals the limelight for being the first dual-lens digital still camera, operating with Kodak Retina Dual Lens technology. Uniting an ultra-wide angle lens (23 mm) and an optical zoom lens (39 – 117 mm) in the same camera gives the Kodak EasyShare V570 an enticing advantage above traditional digital cameras.

The camera itself is less than an inch thick and even so boasts 5 megapixels and 5x optical zoom, ideal for any kind of photography, from close-up and portraits to scenic and group shots. Compact and stylish, the V570’s Schneider-Kreuznach C-Variogon prism lenses stay safely tucked within the camera body Benefits and features:

• LCD screen has great clarity and large 2.5" size.
• Presets include 23 scene modes and three color modes for quick and easy shooting.
• On-camera cropping and photo rotation features give photographers more flexibility right away.
• Intuitive settings on camera facilitate red-eye reduction, blur correction, etc.
• The KODAK Color Science image processing chip contributes toward vibrant colors, accurate skin tones and ultimate precision across the board.
• In-camera panorama stitching setting merges three different pictures into a single panoramic photograph.
• Video functionality allows users to record in TV-quality video with internal image stabilization. The camera captures up to 30 frames per second and can save any frame in the footage as a still photo.
• Internal memory (32MB) and convenient SD memory cards mean any photographer will be ready to go at the drop of a hat.

The Kodak EasyShare V570 is expected to retail at $399, becoming available toward the end of January 2006.
