Night Digital Photography

There’s something mysterious and seductive about nighttime photography. Perhaps it’s the romantic air of celebratory fireworks or a gentle snowfall.
Maybe it’s the eeriness of an old, dilapidated farmhouse or an ancient cemetery on a foggy eve. A spooky scarecrow or an old wooden fence may also make great targets for your camera’s roving eye.
Even still, a crisp and cool fall evening produces great subjects with harvest-ready pumpkin patches and silhouettes of trees with half-fallen leaves.

Photographed by S.Qodsi Curious, fascinating and oftentimes adorable, animal subjects can be a lot of fun to photograph. From the natural wildlife in your geographic region to the interesting critters you encounter on vacation, wildlife photography can be completely exhilarating.
For a photography project with many distinct flavors, visit your local zoo to capture some incredible endangered species on camera. Remember to modify your settings for the indoor creatures and adjust settings again when you go back outside. Use your zoom features for animals that are too far away to photograph clearly. Taking great pictures requires a fair blend of talent, skill, patience, persistence and a small degree of luck. Whether you pick it up right away as a natural or whether you require dozens of books, photography classes and hours of practice, taking excellent photographs depends on situational factors and camera settings as well.
So what happens if you’ve lined up the perfect shot, but forgot to set your flash or allow for enough natural lighting? Your shot may come out completely dark, shadowed or otherwise imperfect. In many cases, however, a good photographer also possesses a few computer skills so he or she can salvage great shots that merely missed out on some critical lighting. Write Comment ( Comments) |

As spring approaches, Mother Nature’s wild wonders can be found just about everywhere. From rosebuds to daisies, buttercups to common wildflowers, plants and flowers abound, providing magnificent subjects for photographers both advanced and amateur.
Flower photography typically falls under the category of macro photography, which simply means the images shot by photographers are equal in size or larger than the actual object. Because these shots are taken extremely close up, the detail expressed in your digital photography efforts will be highly magnified and quite amazing. To follow are a few tips for beginners on photography of flowers.Write Comment ( Comments) |

Certain kinds of photography can seem intimidating at first, especially if you’ve never had a chance to practice them. Portrait photography can take place in a number of settings, from a studio to a natural scene to a candid, unexpected situation.
To get started as a portrait photographer, first decide if you’ll be operating in a studio setting, a sports setting (like taking shots of each athlete and then shooting a team photograph) or shooting portraits of family and friends just for fun. Once you’ve decided on your level of expertise, you can move on to these relatively easy tips and hints.Write Comment ( Comments) |
